Pinnacle Stainlux ER309L TIG wire is a type of filler metal used for welding austenitic stainless steels. It contains a low carbon content (L) to minimize carbide precipitation and improve corrosion resistance. ER309L is suitable for welding similar alloys, including 304 and 316 stainless steels, as well as dissimilar joints between stainless steels and mild steels or low alloy steels. It is commonly used in applications such as food processing equipment, chemical tanks, and automotive exhaust systems where corrosion resistance is crucial.
